The Nigerian government has set its sights on turning Nigeria into a global services outsourcing hub. This move is steeped in intentions to harness the country’s population dynamics and turn the West African giant into an attractive destination for talent outsourcing. The vehicle to achieve this is the newly unveiled National Talent Export Programme (NATEP), announced on 22 September 2023 at the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
The programme's goal is to position Nigeria as a leader in business process outsourcing.
