Fund Description
The Amethis Fund III (the “Fund”) is a generalist growth capital fund that targets companies serving low- and middle-income consumer segments in Africa. The fund follows an impact-driven strategy developed by Amethis Partners (the “Fund Manager”) to address critical issues for Africa’s sustainable development.
Fund Impact & ESG Criteria
The Fund pursues an impact strategy focused on gender equality, quality employment (with a particular emphasis on health coverage), and climate considerations. The Fund Manager will also provide technical assistance to all investees, including implementing environmental and social action plans and gender action plans designed to bring each portfolio company into compliance with the 2X Challenge criteria.
