Fund Description
The AfricInvest Transform Health Fund (the “Fund”) is a high-impact healthcare-focused blended capital fund. The Fund intends to provide growth financing to scale innovative healthcare delivery models and supply chain businesses in Africa to achieve public health goals and improve the resilience of the continent's health infrastructure. AfricInvest manages the Fund in collaboration with the Health Finance Coalition.
Fund Impact & ESG Criteria
The Fund is expected to have a high developmental impact in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) through investments in the healthcare sector. SSA lags behind most of the rest of the world in healthcare outcomes, and only 50% of Africans have access to modern healthcare facilities. The Fund will help address these challenges by investing in companies focused on supply chain transformation and innovative healthcare
