Transaction Summary

Zeepay Ghana Limited (Zeepay Ghana), a Ghana-based mobile money and digital wallet provider operating across 20+ African countries and the Caribbean, has secured an $18 million senior secured debt facility arranged by Verdant IMAP, an entity representing the partnership between Verdant Capital (Pty) Ltd and IMAP, a global network of independent M&A and corporate finance firms. Verdant Capital, although independently operated, leverages its partnership with the IMAP network for cross-border deal execution. It acted as both financial advisor and sole arranger in this transaction, building on its long-standing relationship with Zeepay Ghana as both investor and advisor. The $18 million facility, which brings together a consortium of undisclosed new and existing institutional lenders, is structured around a common first-lien collateral pool shared equally (pari passu) among all participants.
