Financial Services Transaction Brief: Al Mada Ventures and DPI invest $13M in Egypt’s MoneyFellows

Transaction Summary

MoneyFellows Limited (MoneyFellows), an Egyptian fintech platform, has announced the successful raising of $13 million in a pre-Series C funding round, co-led by Al Mada Ventures (AMV) and DPI Venture Capital’s Nclude Fund. The round also saw participation from existing investors, such as Partech Africa and CommerzVentures. The Nclude Fund, an Egypt-focused fintech fund with $105 million in assets under management, backs fintech and fintech-enabled companies based in Egypt and those from the Middle East and Africa aiming to enter the Egyptian market. This capital injection brings MoneyFellows' total funding to over $60 million since its inception. The platform, which digitises traditional savings and credit systems in Egypt, aims to enhance its digital offerings, scale operations, and expand into Morocco, using the investment as growth capital to upgrade technology and support a growing user base.
