Consumer Goods Transaction Brief: Adiwale Partners invests in Togo’s Jus Délice

Transaction Summary

Adiwale Partners (Adiwale) announced its investment in Jus Délice, the Togo-based leading producer of organic pineapple juice and concentrate in West Africa. The investment will fund the expansion of Jus Délice's production line to meet growing demand from international markets, particularly in Europe and North America. It also marks the exit of Moringa, a fund managed by Edmond de Rothschild Group that invests in sustainable agriculture and agribusinesses in Sub-Saharan Africa, which had been a majority investor in Jus Délice since 2018. Adiwale Fund I, launched in 2017, focuses on minority equity stakes (15%-45%) with investments ranging from €3 million to €10 million ($3.1 million to $10.3 million), prioritising midsize Francophone African companies that are focused on consumer, business services, and manufacturing sectors.
